Homoepathy
is a totally natural and gentle system of medicine that has
been around for 200 years. It
was developed by a man called Samuel Hahnemann in Germany.
Homeopathic
medicines (called remedies) are made from substances that occur
in nature including plants and minerals.
How
does Homoeopathy work?
The
body has its own energy to heal itself whatever the problem,
but sometimes it need reminding and Homeopathic remedies to
do just that. They stimulate the bodies own healing energy
to come into play so that the body basically fixes itself.
Because Homoeopathy does not
suppress symptoms, and tend to cure at a deep level, people tend
to have increased feelings of well-being, health and happiness
while being treated in this way. Homoeopathy
sees people as individuals which is why we may get several people
with a cold and all would require a different remedy. This is
because people have colds (and other illnesses) in different
ways. For instance a person could have a runny nose and fever,
while someone else could have a blocked nose and chills, while
someone else has a sore throat and a headache.
It
is taking into account peoples particular symptoms that helps
make Homoeopathy effective.
What
can Homoeopathy be used for?

whether it be emotional of physical. Some examples would include:
