Creative Chinese New Year of the Dragon
This week things are getting very exciting at the Creative Health Centre, Brierley Hill in anticipation of the
Chinese New Year of the Dragon. According to the various ancient traditions such as the Vedic,
Mayan, Egyptians and Chinese, 2012 is a major year of transformation.
Chinese Dragon years symbolize strength, potency,
and benevolent power.
This Year of the Dragon is considered auspicious for
marriage, children and new businesses.
There is also a suggestion of improvement to individual
finances and fortunes, as well as the world economy - all of which would be of great benefit now.
Two of our registered acupuncturists, Tony Concannon and Balteg Singh, are hot on the Dragon’s tail to represent acupuncture in celebration of this transformative year.
In terms of health and well being, treatment in the Year of the Dragon can benefit problems where there are symptoms of fatigue, anxiety, lack of balance, stress and loss of motivation.
Physical problems that also benefit with acupuncture treatment are strains, tension, weakness in muscles and joints, insomnia and headaches.
To mark the occasion the Creative Health Centre are offering free 20 minute Acupuncture consultations, including a blood pressure check,
between 9am-5pm during the week 23rd– 27th January 2012 .
